It has come to my attention that some people believe LiveJournals should be used to write things in. This is a new concept to me, but I suppose I could at least make the attempt! :)
Stuff that has happened in the last two weeks:
I read two incredibly good books. The 11th book in the Series of Unfortunate Events just came out, and it was, of course, wonderfully odd. Those books are so fun, but they do seem a bit immature, and I find myself hiding the fact that I'm reading a 'children's book' even more so than when I'm reading Harry Potter and the like. The other book was, obviously, Terry Pratchett's Going Postal. It is absolutely fabulous; in fact, it's one of my favorite Discworld books to date (and that's some tough competition). Vetinari is delicious, and Moist is definitely a new favorite character.
Play practice has been exhausting simply because we have so many of them. I am not used to having to do much of anything before 8:00 am, and these early morning practices are killing me. At least I have a reasonably fun part, even if it is teeny tiny.
It has snowed, ick! It's not the actual snow that bothers me; it's the accompanying freezing weather. At least we're still above zero degrees Fahrenheit...
I have a new digital camera! I just got my new Pentax Optio 450 a few days ago, and it is amazing! It's 4 megapixels, and has 5x optical zoom, and has so many features that my photos look like I have some sort of talent! So happy!
Of course, I am in a lovely mood anyways because my random audition of the week went absolutely perfectly. Honestly, it was 100 times better than my last audition. And what's more, I think a couple of my friends have a really good chance at making it into Honor Choir, too, which would be cool beyond words!
Also, I am through with auditions for an entire month! *throws confetti*
